This game is kindof weird. Not really fun though. The graphics are good for an MZX game although, they are just animated images that are displayed to give an impression of 3D. What the point of the game is you are in some sort of maze thing there there are different rooms. You need to chose from 3 passageways per room. If you go into certain rooms, you die and need to start over, or you get snatched up and dropped to another room. The player is given warning if something is in one of the adjacent rooms. This game isn't real entertaining but at least it's slightly better than Hunt the Pussy so it get's a 2.

Nice and atmospheric, but gameplay-wise it's not as good as it could be. It's surprisingly functional for a game of this type, with good transitions between rooms, but the game is sometimes incredibly easy. 3/5.

This game is a somewhat faithful 3D rendition of the original Unix console classic. While there is one feature missing (the ability to more accurately control your arrow's trajectory) it emulates the gameplay of the original.

The graphics are definitely a shining point of this otherwise lackluster game. A fair bit of time was clearly spent ensuring that everything looked polished. The atmosphere that this game creates is a very nice touch.

Unfortunately, as with the Unix version of Hunt the Wumpus, there isn't a whole lot of replay value. It can provide a few minutes of entertainment but that's about it.

Bottom Line: Polished graphics, great atmosphere, decent gameplay, poor replay value.

Personally, I preferred the console version, although the fact that you don't have to think about which rooms to make your crooked arrow fly through does make it simpler, it pretty much makes the game rely totally on luck (whereas the original required skill)

The game had awesome graphics and the music was good, but the overall gameplay was slightly lacking. I don't know how the original was, but I'm not all that impressed with this one.
I give it a 3 for graphics and music.
